Play together
A spin, a shuffle and a flying lime: the fun inside Caipi Counter
One of my favorite things about Caipi Counter is how much personality a small interaction can have. A wheel slowing down, a mystery card turning over, a lime flying toward an ice cube: each adds a little anticipation. That is what Caipi Play brings to the diary, through three games you can try for yourself.
Caipi Spin: let the wheel make a suggestion
Choose your mix, tap Spin for me and watch the wheel turn. It lands on one of your selected drinks and reveals the pick. It is a simple interaction, with enough suspense to make the result fun to watch.
I like that you decide what goes on the wheel. You can choose a few familiar favorites, explore a different mix or fill it entirely with alcohol-free options. The surprise comes from which choice appears, while the possibilities remain yours.
Once the result is revealed, you can play again, skip it or choose to log it. The game makes a suggestion; you decide what happens next.
Caipi Shuffle: choose the card that catches your eye
Shuffle turns your selected mix into face-down mystery cards. Tap a card and it flips to reveal the drink underneath. You can shuffle again when you want a fresh arrangement.
There is something enjoyable about choosing before you know the answer. The cards give the reveal a different feel from the wheel, even though both start with possibilities you selected. You might pick the first card immediately or spend a moment deciding which one feels lucky.
The result still leaves the choice with you. Keep playing for the reveals, skip a pick or record a drink you actually choose. Turning a card over does not automatically add an entry to your event.
Caipi Launch: put a little aim into it
Launch adds a small beach scene and a lime you can send flying. Pull it back, aim and release toward the ice cubes in the glass. Hit the same cube three times to break it and reveal a pick from your mix.
You can adjust your next shot when the lime misses, and switch the scene between day, sunset and night. If you prefer simpler controls, choose the tap option and tap a cube three times instead.
I love the silliness of a flying lime having its own moment in a drink diary. You can enjoy the aiming and the reveal as a little game in themselves, then decide whether the resulting pick belongs in your event.
Make the mix something you would enjoy
Edit mix lets you choose between two and eight possibilities. Alcohol-free only gives you a mix of non-alcoholic choices, which you can adjust yourself. A wheel of coffees, mocktails or other alcohol-free drinks can have just as much suspense as any other mix.
You can also choose who is playing within an event. That makes a reveal feel personal, with a participant’s avatar alongside it. Keep the choices comfortable for the person playing and remember that Skip is always a perfectly good result.
Come and play a round
All three games have public demos you can play without an account. Explore them, edit a mix and see which one you enjoy. Demo results are separate from real event history; saving drinks to your own shared diary requires an account and an event.
I want the games to add fun to the time people spend together. Enjoy the anticipation, let someone else have a turn and keep the parts you like. Playing never requires drinking anything, and a game result stays unlogged until you choose to record it.
