YOUR PEOPLE, ONE OCCASION
A shared drink tracker for your people and occasions
A shared drink tracker gives an occasion one history instead of several disconnected notes. Caipi Counter groups participants, drinks and mood check-ins inside an event, with host approval for people who want to join on their own phones.
Your shared event diary.Start with the occasion
Create an event while online and give it a name that will make sense later: a weekend away, a birthday dinner or your honeymoon. Set its dates and time zone. Add a place if it helps tell the story, and add participant names with their permission.
A named participant does not need an account for the host to record their drinks. An account becomes necessary when that person wants to open the shared event on their own phone. Keep those two steps separate when planning a small group.
Invite people and approve access
An invitation begins a join request; it does not immediately make the event available to everyone who receives the link. The host reviews requests and approves who joins.
- Open the event’s invitation controls and create an invitation with a suitable expiry.
- Share it through WhatsApp, copy the link or show its QR code. A printable invitation is useful when the group is together.
- The recipient signs up or logs in, opens the invitation and requests access.
- Review the request. If you already added that person by name, connect their account to the existing participant instead of creating a second entry.
Give each person the right place
Approved members record drinks and moods for themselves. Hosts manage the event and its participants, and can record drinks for participants. The shared reports let the group look back at the occasion without losing attribution.
Removing a participant takes them out of current drink selection and games. Their past drinks and mood history remain in reports. Removing linked access stops further event access, but it cannot erase information someone previously downloaded.
Choose what you share outside the group
Private membership, a public event postcard and a shared recap serve different purposes. A host can separately enable a view-only event page or a recap link. Neither is required to keep a shared diary.
Anyone with an enabled recap link can see the event name, place, dates, participants, avatars, drink history and mood highlights. Check with your group before turning it on. The host can disable recap sharing; enabling it again creates a new link.
For a group on patchy connections, load the event online on each phone before relying on offline entries. A drink saved on one offline phone becomes visible to other devices after synchronization.
GOOD TO KNOW
A few common questions
Can I add someone who does not want an account?
Yes. With their permission, a host can add them as a named participant and record drinks for them. They need an account and host approval to join on their own phone.
Does sending an invitation make my event public?
No. Recipients must sign in and receive host approval. Public event pages and shared recap links are separate options that the host chooses to enable.
Can a friend join their existing drink history?
Yes. When reviewing the join request, the host can explicitly connect the account to a participant already in the event. A matching name alone does not connect the account.
